ALESSANDRO NARDINOCCHI got Master Degree in Civil Engineering at Università Politecnica delle Marche of Ancona (Italy) in 2012, Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, curriculum “Materials, Environment and Territory Engineering” at Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2016 with a thesis entitled “Advanced cement-based composites: study of the synergic effect between fiber-reinforcement and expansive agent”.
Since June 2016 he held a Research Fellow at Università Politecnica delle Marche on the topic “Study of innovative reinforcing systems for cement-based composites materials: optimization of the fiber-matrix interface”. His main research interest is Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete. In 2015 he spent three months abroad at the laboratories of the Loughborough University (Leicestershire, UK) for experimental activity.
He is author of more than 20 publications on peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings and co-inventor of 1 patent.
Winner of the Business Plan competition Ecapital 2014 with the innovative idea “Self Prestressed Concrete (SPC)”, based on the industrial patent n. 0001420870 and on the innovative idea “Self Prestressed Concrete” winner of the “First Prize of the TRA Vision Award 2014”, Paris (France), April 14th, 2014.
